Fretwire is the metal strip embedded into the fretboard of a guitar, forming the frets. It allows players to press the strings against different positions to produce various notes, and its quality influences playability and sound durability.
In 2022, we upgraded our production line with high-temperature annealing and nano-polishing for a smoother, brighter fret surface. New equipment for edge chamfering and rounding has also shortened lead times for our instrument manufacturer customers.
